Alternative Dispute Resolution
A Reliable Option for Resolving Conflict

Professional and experienced neutral mediators

Need Help Resolving a Dispute? You've Come to the Right Place.

As attorneys with many years of experience, we at Litchfield County Center for Dispute Resolution (LCCDR) have witnessed the cost, delay, uncertainty and unwanted publicity associated with resolving issues through the court process. We offer a panel of experienced lawyers to assist in the non-adversarial resolution of disputes.

Our services include mediation, arbitration and parenting coordination. The Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) process offers an expedient, less expensive, and more private alternative to litigation. The panel of professionals at LCCDR have decades of litigation experience which provide them with a unique perspective and ability to fairly and quickly resolve the most contentious disputes. LCCDR offers mediation and arbitration services in the areas of contracts and business disputes, custody and parenting issues, divorce, employment disputes, personal injury claims, and probate and real estate disputes.

Announcing A New Service To Our Area

COVID-19 Notice

At this time our offices remain open. We have video and teleconferencing capabilities for our neutrals and our clients to participate remotely for meetings and hearings.

COVID-19 Notice

The ADR Center is especially adept at resolving your issues during the days and months ahead in which there is a national interest in arresting this pandemic. The Center’s services remain open for mediations, arbitrations, and for resolving interim issues while the court system remains closed to the public on all but emergency issues.

If you would like more information on scheduling an in-person or video-conferencing mediation or arbitration please feel free to contact us at any time. The COVID-19 virus is going to have a significant impact on our personal and professional lives in the weeks and months ahead. During this time, our priority is the well-being of our clients, colleagues and their families.

At this time our offices remain open. We have video and teleconferencing capabilities for our neutrals and our clients to participate remotely, permitting us to conduct our meetings and hearings in the same manner as would occur at a face-to-face conference. Our remote capability includes the ability to confidentially exchange positions and arguments with the neutral as may be needed in mediation and arbitration conferences.

TO COUNSEL: With present cases pending in our courthouse system, access has been strongly curtailed at this time. With agreement of involved counsel and their clients, the Center is available to assist in resolving pending issues, including discovery disputes, in a timely and cost-effective manner. If you would like more information, please contact us.
