About The Center

We Look at Resolving Disputes Differently

At Litchfield County Center for Dispute Resolution we believe that disputes between and among people are best resolved outside of a courtroom with the direct involvement of the parties. Between the founders of LCCDR sixty years has been spent litigating cases ranging from divorces and car accidents, to boundary disputes and negligent construction. Win or lose, there is an expense to all parties involved, whether it be the loss of time from work or family, payment of attorneys’ fees, or the emotional toll that exists in every case.

In our experience, the only true winners in disputes resolved through trial are the lawyers. LCCDR offers you the services – mediation, arbitration, parenting coordination – that will allow you to take control of your dispute, to actively participate in its resolution and to avoid the cost of protracted litigation. We can offer you a private means by which to find a solution to any issue relating to employment, contracts, divorce, custody, real estate, probate or personal injury. The professionals on our panel have a broad range of experience and insight from which you can draw to craft an agreement unique to your situation, free from public exposure that will effectuate a fair resolution.
